Book Corner Spring 2010

Recommendation – Ashley Fuchs, President, Crofton Town Club
My favorite book to recommend is ANYTHING by Michael Pollan (The Botany of Desire, The Omnivore's Dilemma, In Defense of Food). Michael is a champion of safe, locally produced food, and has been working towards lifting the veil of secrecy from the AgraBusiness Industry. He was recently on Oprah, so he is coming in to his own popularity right about now. He is a brilliant, creative, and thoughtful author, and his message is so important! He has recently co-produced a documentary with Eric Schlossar (author of Fast Food Nation) called Food, Inc. that is a MUST see.
