Crofton Middle presents Hello, Dolly!
It’s finally here! Approximately 140 students will take part in this year’s CMS musical production. Sarah Sykora shines as Minnie Fae, Graham Buck plays the devilish Cornelius Hackl and David Ossman stars as his sidekick Barnabe Tucker. The show, staged at Crofton Middle School, runs from March 12-21. Evening performances will be held March 12, 13, 19 and 20 at 7pm. Matinees will be held on March 14 and 21 at 2 pm. Baysox Auditions
The Bowie Baysox will host auditions to sing the national anthem before a 2010 Baysox home game on Saturday, March 13. Gates open for registration at 9:00 a.m. and auditions begin at 9:30 a.m. The team has a live performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner" before all 71 home games. Every participant must register, and auditions are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. The auditions are held rain or shine and reservations for audition times will not be accepted. All auditions must be done in person, no CD's, cassettes or videos will be accepted for review.
Chesapeake Youth Symphony Gala
The CYSO's annual gala which includes numerous local musicians will hold its annual gala featuring the Morgan State Choir and Opera Workshop, on Saturday, March 13 at St. John's College Key Auditorium. Silent Auction and reception begins at 5:30; concert at 7 p.m. Small groups perform during the reception. Adults $45; Students $20
